Display random posts through images galery

  I would like to have a random galery of images in my page ‘ricette’.
  I explain myself: a random galery of images, displaying the featured image, then if you click on an image, i would like to read the corrispondent post.
  You can find something very similar to what i am looking for in the right sidebar of thesartorialist.com (random post).

  I have tried with gallery or displaypost shortcodes, but i am not able to obtain a dacent result (as shown in my page ricette!)

  I know it’a very tough question. Not for everybody!
  I could start from galery of posts, and add the rndomness in a second time!

  At this time there is nothing on wp.com which will do that as a gallery. There are plugins for wp.ORG which will do that: I use something like that for my “work” blog. But that is hosted elsewhere and uses wp.ORG software.
