Display specific category on front page

  Hi,

  Hope you can help, is it possible to set the front page to display only specific categories?

  I have a number of categories, I have managed to create a custom menu to display one category (‘Fitness’) on a separate page however I’d now like to display only my ‘Food’ category posts on the front page. My front page is currently set to most recent posts.

  You can take advantage of Front Page.

  Select your category page in the Front Page drop down.
  Select posts page in the Posts Page drop down.

  This might also mean the posts in your category Front Page also appear in your Posts Page. You can perhaps use Display Posts Short Code to exclude the posts that are already shown in the Front Page.
