Display suddenly changed

Overnight the general appearance/display/theme of my blog changed. Instead of a blue header field and links to other pages running down the right-hand side, there is now a completely white background with everything listed down the left-hand side. I’ve had this blog for over 5 years and it’s remained the same up until now. Does anyone have an idea what’s happened?

Your site looks normal on my laptop: try clearing your cache and cookies, restart computer.

I cleared the cache and cookies (Firefox) and restarted three computers (iMac, MacBook Pro and a PC). The blog now appears normal on the iMac, however, the other two computers still have the same problem.
Additionally, all ‘WordPress’ pages take approx. 30 seconds to load(10X slower than other pages).
I’ll continue this cache/cookies clearing approach and report any further progress.

I began working with the blog again, but have now found another related problem. When I try to upload or insert content onto a page, the media-library window now appears at the bottom of the page on the left-hand side. In addition, only half the window is displayed making it unusable.

…the dark-gray tool bar which appears at the top of the page when logged-in has also disappeared.

After countless cache/cookies clearings and restarts, I left the computers off for over 5 hours. Restarting them now, the blog seems to be functioning normally again.
