  Some themes look so elegant and beautiful and also wide but when they are applied they look so pathetic… Why? Is there something more I have to do?

  Hi there,

  Some themes take a little extra setup to make them match the theme’s demo site. For example, you can find more information on the Gateway theme page about how to set up its homepage like the Gateway demo. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

  Yes, I couldn’t get the featured content displayed… I can’t get that wide page and header… And I don’t understand the theme option section at all… It will be a great help if you can help me out… Thanks for the help

  Hi Chiradeep,

  To make your site’s homepage match the Gateway demo site (with featured content, the wide page layout, header, etc.) you will need to set up a page using the theme’s Homepage template, as described on the Gateway theme page here:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/gateway/

  Please follow the steps under “Homepage Template” on that page. If you get stuck in that process, please let me know what step you are on and I can help you with that. :)
