Displaying “About the Blogger” Paragraph so readers can see who is talking

I would like a descriptive paragraph on the author with a picture to be displayed on upper right of each author’s post. There is a field called “About the User” in the Users/Edit Authors and Users section of the admin panel – I guess this is what it is for? But how do I get it displayed? Although I’ve added author descriptions they are not showing up. Also how can I add the author pic?

that section is for admin purposes i guess. you have to manually add the author’s biodata and picture in each post, sort of like a signature. you could blockquote it to separate the biodata from the article.

We all have a space for a brief bio on our Your Profile page. A few themes are coded to display this at the top of the default sidebar but most themes aren’t. I suggest that you put the About information and image into a text widget and display it in your sidebar.
