Displaying author names in posts on theme

  Hi! We have a question about displaying the name of the person posting on a multi-author blog/customizing our theme to do so. We chose the theme DePo Masthead, but are wondering if there’s a way to add the author’s name to the posts without having to type it into the post itself. Other themes we had considered have this option, but we like this one the best so far. Unfortunately, none of us is particularly well-versed in CSS, so if you can help us with this it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  Howdy,

  DePo Masthead doesn’t display author information in the post.

  You could use the Authors widget as you’re currently doing, or add the author as a category of the post if you like:

  Organize Posts with Categories
