Displaying boxes with the most recent blog post from each category on homepage

  Hello,

  I would like my blog’s homepage to display the latest post from each category on my blog, and not the whole blogroll. The two categories are “Quill” and “Curio.” I haven’t been able to find a straightforward answer or instructions on how to do this so I’m hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction.

  There is no widget designed to do what you describe and you cannot make any widget do what it’s not designed to do.

  Thanks, timethief. I think I actually figured it out. What I’m looking for is a magazine or newspaper style theme. Something like that will allow me to display thumbnails and content from each of my categories directly on my homepage.
