Displaying category and archive links in widgets rather than a chain of posts.

    In the Recent Posts widget you are given just links to the most recent posts. However, the category and archive widgets display the actual posts in a long chain. This makes it difficult to find any one entry.

    I didn’t realize when purchasing this product that I wouldn’t be able to install my own plugins!

    I saw this plugin: Recent Posts Widget Extended. It looks like it would do this by being able limit recent posts by taxonomy.
