displaying child pages under parent page

  Hi,
  I have created three child pages for my research page but I can’t figure out how to display them on the parent page (Research). I would like them to appear as grids if possible. I don’t know how to write codes, so it needs to be through easy plug-ins or some other built-in feature. Given how easy it was to create child pages, I am baffled at the difficulty of seeing them under the parent page. Why does not wp automatically do that?
