Displaying feed from another WP blog
-
Hi
I have two WordPress blogs on one dashboard. Is there any way to feed posts from one, to the other, using the RSS Widget? If I set it up, it simply doesn’t appear. Worked fine when the second blog was on another platform.
StephenThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All you have to do is put the feed address into the RSS widget. It will be in the following form: http://blogname.wordpress.com/feed/ . The only way this would not work is if the blog were set to private (private blogs do not have feeds otherwise they would not be private).

By the way, the site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog. If you are talking about a self-hosted blog using the software downloaded from wordpress.ORG, then you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.
If you are talking about blogs hosted here, then please include a link to the blog you are talking about when asking questions.
Thanks in advance.

This is the feed for the first blog: http://stephenpritchard.wordpress.com/feed/ . I put it into an RSS widget on my test blog and it worked fine.

Delete the URL from the RSS widget and then click “done” and then click “save changes.” Then go back into the RSS widget and add http://stephenpritchard.wordpress.com/feed/ back into it.
Also, does the feed url you have in the RSS widget start with http:// or feed:// ? Feed:// is what an RSS link will resolve to, but you have to start from http:// .
