Displaying images from google drive

    Hello, sorry if this has been answered, I tried searching the forums and didn’t find any recent answers, I tried googling, but could only find answers for WordPress.org.

    Is there a way to display images from google drive in a WordPress.com site, without having to also upload to the WordPress site?

    Is there a widget for WordPress.com similar to this WordPress.org plugin? Image and video gallery from Google Drive

    Hi there, you can insert them using the image URL (must end with a JPG, GIF, PNG extension), but you might not have as much control over the inserted image as images you upload to your Media Library. This is the closest screenshot that I found where you can see the “Insert from URL” link https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#add-an-image

    Keep in mind that when inserting images by URL, if for any reason the source is down your image will not load, and, depending on image size, extended loading time may actually penalize you in search engines..

    Just mentioning too that with your plan you have access to LiveChat (when available) or direct support via email when you post at https://wordpress.com/help/contact or by clicking on the large question mark in the lower right corner of your browser screen in any dashboard on your site.
