Displaying only post excerpts on homepage
-
Hi, I’d like for my home page to only display the post excerpt for each post and not the full post. How do I achieve this ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your theme doesn’t have an option to do this automatically, so instead you’ll have to control this on a per-post basis. In the editor you can add the more-tag to every post at the point you want the excerpt to cut off, then it will display a read-more link to see the rest of the post:

Is it possible if I want an output like this in my blog menu?
See this -> http://bit.ly/iwantoutput
I just tried the solution mentioned above but I think it’s not the output I am looking for.
Here is my site: https://imprintinspirations.wordpress.com/

That screenshot is of your site in the WordPress.com Reader.
I’m not sure what you’re referring to, would you please elaborate?

Sorry for the confusion. What I want is when someone visits my site and press my Blog Menu –>http://bit.ly/clicktheblogmenu it won’t show the full post.
What I want is just a summary of all my blog posts just like what I am seeing in WordPress.com Reader –>http://bit.ly/iwantoutput. -
Ah yes, so it is the same case as this thread here. Just follow the steps that my colleague posted in his reply: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/displaying-only-post-excerpts-on-homepage/#post-3372420
