Displaying PDF Using Firefox

  Hey Everyone,

  I am attempting to upload a PDF to my blog using Firefox on a Mac. I go through all the necessary Add Media, File URL, Insert Into Post, Publish steps and am able to create a link on a post that supposedly displays the document but when I click on the link, a blank white screen is displayed.

  When I look at the uploaded PDF using Safari or Internet Explorer, I am able to see the PDF as it should be displayed. I have done quite a bit of searching online and through these forms and have not been able to find someone with a similar problem or resolution. Does anyone out there have an idea what might be going on/what I can do to fix it?

  I use Firefox (10.0.2) on a Mac, and when I click on the “Pat Lawton” link in your blog post, it (slowly) loads a 21 page PDF. Firefox for Mac does not natively show PDF in the browser, you need an add-in to do that. I use PDF Viewer, there are many others. I hope that helps!

  Thank you for the replies! I really do appreciate them. Using Scribd I was able to get the document to upload in WordPress and using Firefox, it is now visible on my computer.
