displaying posts in a different order

    I want my first posts to be in a different order. I edited the dates on them so that they would read Aug 1-4. The date is changed but they still show in the order I wrote them originally. Do I have to copy and post again so that they follow in the right order?

    Hi glennhopfner,

    By default, posts are displayed in reverse chronological order (from newest to oldest) but changing the publish date in Post Settings (cog icon) should reorder them.

    I’m currently seeing, “Tales From the Tundra”, “The Adventures of Marco Polo Bear”, “The Ugliest Doll in the World” and then “What Happened”. If you aren’t seeing them in this order, please try clearing your browser cache:

    Thanks. I probably had too many things open in my browser. Too used to expecting things to change immediately and not quite used to the workings of WP.
