Displaying posts on my homepage
-
Hi there,
Hope all is well.
I have a WordPress blog and I have recently adopted a new theme which I am very fond of (Tu), but I am unable to add a link to the overall blog posts on the homepage and I am not clear on how I can get to these. Can you help?
Additionally, back in 2007/2008, I was running a blog the URL of which was delicatafemininasiabsolutcocheta.wordpress.com. I deleted the blog posts at the time, I was wondering if these are in any way saved in the archives or if these are deleted for good.
Many thanks,

Hello Irina,
Happy to help you with this.
I have a WordPress blog and I have recently adopted a new theme which I am very fond of (Tu), but I am unable to add a link to the overall blog posts on the homepage and I am not clear on how I can get to these. Can you help?
It looks like you already have a posts page in the site called Blog, but it’s currently set to draft. This would need to be published.
The Tu theme doesn’t have a traditional header for the homepage, and so this ideally would need to be added to the homepage.
Other templates in the site do have a header, for example, the single post template: https://irinagheorghe.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?postType=wp_template&postId=pub%2Ftu%2F%2Fsingle&sidebar=%2Ftemplates
It’s possible to copy that and paste that into the page template:

You could then add items to the menu block, please see how to do this here: https://wordpress.com/support/site-editing/theme-blocks/navigation-block/
Additionally, back in 2007/2008, I was running a blog the URL of which was delicatafemininasiabsolutcocheta.wordpress.com. I deleted the blog posts at the time, I was wondering if these are in any way saved in the archives or if these are deleted for good.
I’m afraid these would now be beyond restore.
I hope this helps so far.
