displaying the gallery widget on the page

    Hello
    1. My first problem is displaying the gallery widget on the page (pictorico theme) – now all gallery is displaying on – instead of this i would like to be visible only one picture or just a few. How can I obtain such effect?
    Generally I want to give access to several albums (gallery) with photos. Initially I was creating posts with the gallery but they were displayed with a date – what was not acceptable.
    Maybe there is another way to achieve that goal?
    It is possible the wordpress portfolio is intend for this? I have tested the portfolio but still dont know how it works

    2. The page is rather for my portfolio than for blogging – i would like to delete the text on the front: “Nothing Found – Ready to publish your first post? Get started here” – how to do this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Have you checked the Gallery Styles?

    Also check the Portfolios support document to get started with Portfolios.

    “Nothing Found – Ready to publish your first post? Get started here”

    This message disappears as soon as you publish your first portfolio.

    Yes, i have checked Gallery styles and You can also style each gallery individually.
    and Gallery Shortcodes
    but they hasn’t any answer how to do the widget gallery show just one picture (for example) and wholel gallery could be visible after clicking the one picture. Like with the gallery posts.

    Besides i have problems with portfolios too – I’m waiting for answer here

    It might not be possible to just show one picture on Gallery widget.

    You can however go to a Gallery page / post on clicking the photo on the widget. You can have a text widget showing just a single image. Clicking on that image can take the visitor to whatever gallery page or post or portfolio. Is this okay for you?
