  I think WordPress should consider adding a plugin to enable the Disqus commenting system. I have found through experience on other websites that it is an effective commenting system and can help bring more discussion to mine and other people’s blogs/websites at wordpress.com.

  My readers who are not bloggers on WordPress find it frustrating that they cannot comment on my blog without having a WP blog of their own. Hence, they don’t leave comments and we miss discussion we might otherwise get. I believe adding this plugin would be helpful to them and would benefit not only my blog, but many other WP bloggers. I’ve seen Disqus at work on other blogs. Found it quite effective.

  Disqus is a trending comment medium. A Disqus plugin is essential for moving WordPress.com blogs into a wider community of commenters. My exploration of comment threads and blogs integrated into Disqus indicates it is very effective.
