  • Hi there,

You don’t own any sites on WordPress.com any more, and the domain, nacertalel.com doesn’t exist any more since you cancelled it.

If your site at exposure.co is redirecting to WordPress.com, the problem is with a setting on that site. We can’t cause anything to happen on a site that is in no way connected to us. Please contact your hosting provider for the other site, or Disqus support if you suspect it’s related to that plugin. But we have no access to and no control over that site.

    hello there,
thanks for your answer, yes i cancelled my wordpress at nacertalel.com
but anytime i click on the new site over exposure it still redirect me towards wordpress and it shows the following message :

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

when i click on log in, it is wordpress homepage.

  • The only reason that will happen is because your other domain’s name servers are pointing to WordPress.com, or your computer thinks they do. What is the domain of the new site?

Please check the name servers for the domain and make sure they’re pointing to your current host.

If those are pointing to the correct host, the problem could be with your browser or your computer. Please clear your browser cache, and if that doesn’t work, flush your computer’s DNS cache. The instructions how to flush the DNS cache varies based on operating system and version, so please search Google for instructions how to do it on your specific setup.

Hello again and thanks a lot for the support,

let me just tell you that i am really an ignorant with all these things of DNS, domains etc etc .
    to be simple :
    1) I had my wordpress site at : nacertalel.com
    2) I bought a new site on exposure.co at http://www.nacertalel.com
    3) i edited some DNS setting on my wordpress site, wrongly thinking to link the content of the two sites.
    4) Clicking anywhere on the new exposure site it redirects to wordpress old site.
    5) I tried editing and changing all the setting on , exposure, wordpress and disqus but it never worked.
    6) i started my transformation process and became primeape pokemon.
    5) Now, somehow in a way that i ignore, the redirecting from exposure to wordpress seems to be no more functioning, which is good. But the address nacertalel.com still points to wordpress and http://www.nacertalel.com is for exposure. ( Primeape did a good job).
my request- if it is something that have to do with wordpress: when typing nacertalel.com i don’t want to land on an error domain message from wordpress.

i contacted the exposure guy, he said it is up to you guys at wordpress to help me access my DNS setting.

Note: i think i successfully flushed my DNS, and the computer, i tried from different computers but the problem remains.

    thanks again,
    An all-time-DNS-ignorant.

  • 2) I bought a new site on exposure.co at http://www.nacertalel.com

It’s not possible for your site on exposure.co to show at your nacertalel.com domain as you cancelled that domain two days ago. You no longer own that domain, and it’s not connected to ANY site on the internet.

It sounds like that was a mistake, correct? If you still want to use that domain cancelling it is the absolute last thing you should do. Cancelled domains can take months before they’re available again, and even then you’re not guaranteed you’ll be able to buy it before someone else does.

I should be able to still get that domain back for you, and then I can help you point it somewhere else. Let me know if you want to do that.
