Distinguishing parent from child pages

Hi, In my sidebar, the parent and child pages are listed together such that it is difficult to distinguish one from the other. I think I can add a text widget with the child pages indented under the parent pages, or something to make it a little easier to navigate. Is there a better/easier way to do this?

Also, If I do put a text widget, is there a way to get rid of the pages heading altogether.

    Thank you for your time.

I think you have the Categories Widget right? You have to edit it by checking the box “Show Hierarchy” so that the child pages are indented.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it, but it doesn’t seem to affect the pages, only the posts.

@corylyle: That’s a defect of the theme you’re using (in most themes child pages show up as indented). You can switch to another theme, or, as you say, use a text widget instead.

“Also, If I do put a text widget, is there a way to get rid of the pages heading altogether.” I’m not sure I understand the question. If you mean removing the Pages widget, you do that under Appearance>Widgetes (click Edit, click Remove, click Save Changes). If you mean no title in the text widget, yes, the title box can be left empty.

(@arcadata: the Categories widget has nothing to do with the page list.)
