Distorted Site

I am new to WordPress; I just created my site, it looked great, but once my domain was transferred over the whole layout distorted. I went in and updated everything, then re-did everything, and now not only is the website still distorted but it keeps asking me to update the theme and plug-ins over and over again. Please help!
