Distorted templates
-
Right now I am using “Silver is the New Black” theme, but I want to use “Contempt” or “Neat” (so I can have a custom header and sidebars on the right) but whenever I choose them they are distorted.
All the sidebads on the bottom of the page and and there is nothing where the sidebars are supposed to be. It’s as if the code is messed up somehow.
What do I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The link on your name is to an invalid myspace account! Please provide a link to your wordpress.com blog, starting with:

or link your name to your wp.com blog—see the yellow sticky post at the top of the forum for details.Have you been pasting from Word or other pre-formated source? Have you used the more tag incorrectly? Or is there another problem. Without seeing your blog, we do not know. And guessing is not productive.

I’ll go ahead and switch it to one of the aforementioned themes so you see what I’m talking about.
Thanks!

Notice that the home page is messed up, but when you click on a page with a story it’s normal. I don’t get it.

I’ve only looked at your first post, and I suspect the problem may very well be on other posts where your have used the “more” tag improperly. Look at the post in the html editor.
This is your code below. Notice that your more tag is odd, and between the start paragraph <p> and end paragraph </p> html tags?
<p> The Idaho Statesman caught up with former Blackfoot standout J.C. Percy, who hopes to crack the starting lineup in BSU’s linebacker corps. <a href="http://www.idahostatesman.com/sports/story/725048.html?pageNum=2&mi_pluck_action=page_nav#Comments_Container">Click here to read the story.</a></p>
This is how the “more” tag should look:
<!--more-->
on a line of its own.<p> The Idaho Statesman caught up with former Blackfoot standout J.C. Percy, who hopes to crack the starting lineup in BSU’s linebacker corps.</p> <!--more-->You should go back and check your other posts to be sure you are splitting your posts without making formatting problems.
Here is info about using the “more” tag properly. It will break your theme if it’s done wrong, and your sidebar will fall to the bottom.

Yes, if you are only looking at only one post, then the bad formatting with the “more” tag may not be apparent.
