distraction free writing

@Staff
I use only the classic editor to create and to edit posts.I hate pop-ups.
I have no desire to use the distraction free writing mode feature and that is why I have never enabled it on any of my blogs.
Today, while editing this post OMG! My images are gone a pop-up appeared for enabling distraction free writing and kept appearing over and over again. I clicked the “dismiss” link, assuming that would result in:
- The pop-up disappearing forevermore; and
- The distraction free writing mode not being enabled.
Well, 2. was not the case. I had to endure the annoying disappearance and re-appearance of the left column over and over as I edited my post. Apparently, the distraction free writing mode was enabled.
To be clear:
I do not want distraction free writing mode to be enabled on my blog. Make that so please – disable it.
I do not want any pop-us of any kind to appear on my Admin pages of my blogs. Make that so please – disable it.
Thanks, in advance, for your attention.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi timethief,
That pop-up reminder appeared after we launched some changes on WordPress.com that had already been made to the core WordPress.org software. Sorry for the disturbance! We already reported that to the team launching those changes, to find out if that reminder was intentional and see if we can avoid it reappearing in the future.
Are you still having trouble with that distraction-free writing mode appearing even when you don’t have it enabled (i.e. that distraction-free button on the right side of the editor isn’t selected)?

Thanks for that example. The distraction-free button is now on the far right side of the WP Admin editor: https://cloudup.com/c03_yeUVhHv
Can you try clicking that once more to see if that disables it for you?
