Divi Themes and Plugins

  Good day,

  I recently purchased the Divi Elegant Themes Developer package. I would please like to know how to install it on my WordPress website? Do I need to buy the personal/ premium version of WordPress in order to use the Divi or can I use the Free version? Any help would be awesome!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot upload custom themes and plugins on WordPress.com – be it whatever plan you are on.

  Thanks for the reply, but when I bought Divi it clearly states that it can be installed on WordPress. Link attached https://www.elegantthemes.com/plugins/divi-builder/documentation/install/
  But now I’m not sure at all. My WordPress doesn’t give me the options as provided in the link (no option for Add plugin) just the normal plugin.

  The WordPress mentioned over there is the standalone software of WordPress CMS. Checkout WordPress.org for more information.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are not the same. More on what’s different – https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Quoting from Plugins support document,

  Uploading custom plugins is not supported on WordPress.com services.

  Neither are you allowed to upload custom themes.

  Ah Looks like I confused WordPress.com with WordPress.org, makes sense now. Thanks so much for clearing it up and for the help, much appreciated.
