Divider
-
I have had dividers on my homepage for years. Now, for some reason, the word ‘divider’ appears rather than the divider graphic that used to be there. Why is this and how do I fix it?

Hi, could you link us to the affected page or post? It sounds like you were using an image as a divider, and like that image was removed.

I wasn’t using an image. I used the “divider” option and it created a long zigzag. If you go to my website: http://www.scarlettfinn.com and just scroll down the home page, you will see the word “divider” under/between some of the images. This used to be a zigzag line. Has been for years. Now it says the word and I haven’t changed anything.

Hi there,
The site scarlettfinn.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Bluehost Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/scarlettfinn.com+dns
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Bluehost also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
If you wish you can migrate your site to our service, at which point we will be able to help you with this or any other issues you are facing: https://wordpress.com/support/import/#import-content-from-another-word-press-site
If you decide to leave your site on the current host, you can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance in the event that they offer WordPress support in-house.
Hope that points you in the right direction!
