Divider bar on chaotic soul header

I wanted to restore the original html code on chaotic soul after tweaking it with CSS. Did that, yet for some reason, the divider bar overlay on the image was lost. Ended up temporarily inserting one of my own for the time being, but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and could explain the problem.

You know, there’s been three threads about this in the last 48 hours. How spooky is that!
Don’t know if anyone’s managed to fix it yet though.

Hi Cornell,
I did start a second thread since I had managed to resolve the original request for restoring the original coding. The only fluke was the missing bar divider, which didn’t make sense.
I didn’t try your latest post on the other thread (11) because I’m afraid it’s a little complicated for me. My friend who was the one who removed the divider bar in the first place, ended up creating one late last night and inserting that in the code. So, if you take a look, that’s what you’re seeing.
He’s currently away, but I will relate your information and have him try it when he gets back. He did confirm that the bar was indeed gone and may have posted an inquiry of his own, which is why this issue seems so prevalent.
By the way, I did adjust my time since it was obviously wrong to be in the same time zone as you in the UK.

Is nothing permanent? A few days ago I reported losing the divider bar on the header image in chaotic soul, despite reloading the original code. As of Saturday, we had rigged a reasonably good facsimile, although I did ask if anyone could help me in understanding why this had happened. Have been gone the past few days, returned to my blog and once again, the divider bar is gone – despite being published and inserted through the css upgrade. Does anyone have any theories?

No theories, but I do know there’s a market for whatever technique will get rid of the divider bar. We get a lot of requests for that.

If you have the CSS upgrade then getting rid of the divider is easy. Is that what you mean?

NO on removing the divider bar, although I understand through the last two posts that most people prefer the bar gone. I, on the other hand, prefer the bar to remain.
Again, I’m trying to understand why and how the bar seems to be gone. Like a lot of people, I tried
removing the bar, didn’t like it as one long image – preferred the split screen version so I uploaded the original html style sheet for chaotic soul. Curiously, the divider bar had disappeared. A friend rigged a good fake, but that too, disappeared after a few days.What is the story with this and where is support?
