Diyad 2 Theme – Responsive
-
Hi,
I have recently made a site using the diyad 2 free theme and am having trouble making the mobile site appear as it should on my phones. My Samsung and my iPhone both only display the desktop site?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. Of course we can help!
First of all: can you please let us know what is the link of the website you need help with? We would need to know what website you are refering to so that we can test the issues.

Looking at your domain (http://grahamaustinflooringservices.co.uk/), I see that this is not hosted on WordPress.com, but on phase8 – https://www.names.co.uk. What this tells us is that you are WordPress.org user, not a WordPress.com user.
This forum is dedicated only to the websites hosted on WordPress.com.
To know more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, check this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The support forums for WordPress.org can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/
You should get in touch with your host (phase8 – https://www.names.co.uk) as only them would be able to help in a situation like this. You can contact them HERE: https://www.names.co.uk/support/
Hope this helps!

Okay, just found this post from 2 months ago, although it doesn’t specifically mention how the issue was resolved.

It shows how it was fixed, but you have to first log in by using the top right log in button, as it is the WordPress.org support forum, not the WordPress.com.
Here is a screenshot of the solution, too: https://mapetrei.files.wordpress.com/2017/07/screen-shot-2017-07-29-at-19-38-52.png

I understand the difference between .org and .com, I am currently using .com as my editing tool, does this mean I am unable to change the “Jetpack” or “maintenance” plugin settings?
-
Hey!
You should be able to follow the steps in the screenshot I attached. You would just have to go into the jetpack settings and disable the mobile theme module.
Here is more info about this: https://jetpack.com/support/mobile-theme/
-
Could you show me where to change the settings for Jetpack?
This is as far as I can get,

Hi @peach712,
http://grahamaustinflooringservices.co.uk/ is loading
http://grahamaustinflooringservices.wordpress.com in an iframe. This prevents the site from being responsive.
You should use domain mapping instead if you want the site to appear at your own domain. It would then be responsive and it’d be better for SEO too.
-
If you check the WP.com site on your mobile device, you can see that it’s responsive when viewed without the iframe:

Many thanks mihaiapetrei and garysixtyeight.
You were right about loading the iFrame, I have now sorted the issue by not refreshing the URL on load.
