DLL error – Internet Explorer Must Shut Down

  Hi – Visitors to my site are encountering an error in “Fault Module mshtml.dll” One clicks to the site, the page appears briefly, then the error message pops up. It’s happened to multiple visitors from multiple locations, some of whom are using IE6 and some IE 7. I have no idea how to rememdy this. I phoned Microsoft and they, too, tried it with IE6 and IE7 and had the same outcome. Help please????

  I just tried with the latest beta build of IE8 and had no problems. I clicked around to pages and posts. If you follow up with MSFT, you might tell them that. It might be unimportant but I have no idea whether it is.

  Thanks, ella. MS has concluded that it’s a problem on WordPress’s end since their tech couldn’t view the site either.

  Then you should contact WordPress support directly (use the help tab in your browser) since we’re mostly volunteers here and have no access to anything that might solve your problem. Include every bit of information when you contact them.
