A wordpress.com site has stole my webcopy word for word & is probably selling my copy-written business kit on his site.

When I tried to find out more about this blog owner, his e-mail came back undeliverable and I think his number was out of service. The owner is clearly gone.

My legal friend contacted you guys several times and you have done nothing to remove it.

The point isn’t that it’s dead although that’s part of it, it’s that he stole my webcopy.

Please tell me how to get this taken down.

    Thank you

    Michelle

    Hello!

It is unfortunate to hear that your web content has been stolen. To rectify the situation WordPress recommends the following steps:
    1. Determine what has been stolen
Note: Some items may fall under “fair-use“.
    2. Determine if the blog is hosted at WordPress (ie it has WordPress as part of its url OR it has the phrase “Blog at WordPress.com at the bottom in the footer) or if the blog just uses WordPress software
    3. Attempt to contact the owner to resolve the issue
    4. Gather the contact information
    A. Find the host
    B. Find the host’s Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
    5. File a complaint form. WordPress has a suggested form to use:
    WordPress DMCA Form: http://automattic.com/dmca-notice/
Note 1: WordPress fills in some information on the form for you if you are a WordPress user.
Note 2: The the owner has a right to review the DMCA notice and has the right to file a counter-DMCA notice. After 14 days (unless you file a lawsuit) the host is required to reactivate the material.
See here for more information on counter-DMCA notices

Final note: Your DMCA Notice will be forwarded to the party that made the material available or to third parties such as ChillingEffects.org.
