DNS

We have our site (collectiveinnovations.wordpress.com) hosted and paid to use our existing domain (collectiveinnovations.net) to be used. Our domain is for much more than just our site and we cannot rely on WordPress to provide our DNS services. We are currently using an A record for @ requests that points to the static IP address of our current webhost. I’ve scoured the internet looking for this and cannot find a way to do this.
Please help.

Hi there.
The best way to map a domain to a WordPress.com blog is to set your domain’s name servers to the following values:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
However, if your registrar requires that you create A records, please note that our IPs change over time. Because of this, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, please get in touch with us to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records, accordingly.
If you still want to map your domain using A records, please be sure to create two records using these IP addresses:
192.0.78.25
192.0.78.24
Thanks!
