  Hi there,
  I started building a website on WordPress, then transferred over to another hosting site. However, I need to update DNS settings and apparently WordPress still has those? How do I update or transfer DNS to my new site?

  Hi,
  If your website domain was registered through WordPress.com, see this guide for updating the DNS so it points to the new hosting: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

  Thanks Micawbr. However I have deleted the site and now there are no links to update the DNS…? Help apprecihttp://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/?ref=newdash-footerated!!

  Hi @hanbam4, your domain was registered with another provider, actually. So it may be easiest to simply point the domain to their nameservers. Most hosts have their own nameservers.

  If they don’t have that option, let us know. You can create a new site here and we can help you re-add the mapping so you’ll be able to use our DNS.
