DNS and Nameservers

  I’m setting up my first Word Press site and am a bit flummoxed by the final stage, the dns.

  I am using an external hosting provider, so assuming I need them to point to each other.

  I have gone into Store > Domains > Edit DNS.

  I have added:
  MX 10 XXX.CP-MYNAMESERVER1.COM.
  MX 20 XXX.CP-MYNAMESERVER2.COM.

  That seems okay.

  But I have no idea what to do with the TXT, CNAME, A, and SRV in the DNS record field? What info do you put in them? The example is good but I have no idea how it relates to my hosts nameservers/domain/weight…

  Anyone??

  Just leave other records as they are; they will be fine unless you need to do something special.
