  Hi I would like to know if I’m changing from WP hosting to self hosting, do I need to change anything DNS wise on WP?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Do you have a domain mapping upgrade or not?

  Yes I am pretty sure since it is mapped to WP. Is there a way to verify?

  Yes, that site is being free hosted and domain mapped by WordPress.com. The nameservers control where traffic for the domain goes using DNS. If you are moving from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, you can enter the nameservers provided by your web hosting company to switch your domain to their hosting service. Update Nameservers

  Ok I have switched my DNS on 1&1 which is who my domain was purchased through..is that it? Thanks I am aware that the theme isn’t exportable. A loss I’ll have to deal with.
