Log into your GoDaddy account and change the name servers to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMHere’s GoDaddy’s guide for that: https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-us-12317

@lauragrandeperiodist – Here are the options for setting up a custom email using your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/

Thanks again -
@lauragrandeperiodist – Where are you setting up your email? I don’t see that any of the options listed on that support page ask for an IP number.

Hi there @lauragrandeperiodista,
Since you are going through 1&1 to setup your e-mail, I would contact them for assistance.
Thanks!

ID number for WordPress page? I’m not sure I understand what they are asking for.
So, you are wanting to use an e-mail you have with 1&1 for a site you are hosting at WordPress.com?
If so, you will need to obtain the custom DNS records from 1&1.
For more information, please visit our support page:

Let me know if this is not the case. Thanks!
