DNS change and subscriptions

  Hello,
  I’ve recently changed my default WP.COM DNS to a private one.
  I noticed that RSS feeds, since then, take a couple of days to receive notifications from new posts.

  So, my questions are:

  1 – Is there something I should do in regard to RSS feeds so that this time gap is reduced to what it was before the DNS change?

  2 – Do email subscribers still receive notifications after the DNS change?
