DNS change from wordpress.org to wordpress.com
-
I want to change from a self-hosted wordpress.org blog to a wordpress.com hosted blog, is that possible? I currently have a custom domain (asensesublime.com) that I would like to point to it, however I don’t know how to change the DNS name servers. At the moment they point to a page that says my hosting has expired. I no longer want to self host, so do not want to renew this.
Many thanks

Howdy!
It looks like your domain, asensesublime.com, is pointing to your WordPress.com site. Yay!
Sometimes DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to take full effect, so it’s possible you successfully changed the DNS but weren’t seeing the change right away. This is normal.
If that’s not the case, can you let me know so I can take another look? Thanks!

Hi,
Yes – I have managed to change it.
Though it is now pointing to a page that says ‘this page cannot be found’, I have put a test post up, so I am not sure why that isn’t displaying?
Any help would be much appreciated. -
Awesome, glad the DNS is sorted. :)
I am seeing your test post there, so I’m thinking this is a browser cache issue. Can you try clearing your browser cache & cookies? You can find instructions for doing so here:
