DNS CNAME not working

  I have my domain (compuwatcher.us) registered at Hover.com. I created a CNAME record for compuwatcher.us -> compuwatcher2015.wordpress.com.

  However, whenever I try to “buy” the domain options in WordPress, it comes back and says I need a CNAME record. I changed the cname and waited about 18 hours, and still didn’t make a different.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes. I tried that. However, everytime I do, it says: “DNS CNAME for compuwatcher.us needs to point to compuwatcher2015.wordpress.com.”

  Here’s my NSLOookup Results:

  C:UsersFrank>nslookup
  Default Server: router.asus.com
  Address: 192.168.2.1

  Non-authoritative answer:

  You need to add a Domain Mapping Upgrade to the WordPress.com site you’d like to map compuwatcher.us to, and you need to change compuwatcher.us’s name servers to point to WordPress.com:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=compuwatcher.us

  Yes. I know that. I’ve tried that numerous times. I own the domain. I’ve gotten all the way to the point it asks me to pay for the upgrade. Then I get the message saying the CNAME is NOT setup. However it is.

  Understood.

  I am going to send a manual payment link for the Upgrade via email. Once payment is submitted, I will manually add the Upgrade to your site.

  Then, once you update the domain’s name servers, you should be all set.
