Hello there!
The blog I need help with is theindiependant.co.
That site doesn’t exist. I’m assuming you meant theindiependant.com. The DNS is still registered through Godaddy.
When I looked at the WhoIs for that site, I saw something that you might want to look in to.
Status: clientDeleteProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientDeleteProhibited
Status: clientRenewProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientRenewProhibited
Status: clientTransferProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited
Status: clientUpdateProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientUpdateProhibitedIt looks like it’s locked down from you being able to transfer it normally. I would contact GoDaddy @ (480) 505-8877 and see if they can figure out what’s going on.
If the site you’re referring to isn’t theindiependant.com, then ignore everything I just said and let me know what site you’re referring to.
Good luck!

Hey! Thanks so much for the reply. The domain is theindiependant.co. Does that make a difference? Thanks for the help

I’m not sure what you mean by the fact that my site doesn’t exist when I log into the billing on wordpress.com it says that I renewed and own the domain. How do I get that domain to show everything that was previously on my site, that is still set up on wordpress?

Hello again!
For some reason, it looks like your purchase of the domain didn’t go through, or something. I’m not sure. Whenever I check whois (a service that lets users know who owns websites), it says your site address is available for purchase. http://www.whois.com/whois/theindiependant.coWhat do you see on this page: https://wordpress.com/my-domains/? Note: you’ll need to be logged in for it to show any domains registered to your account. If that page shows that you own the theindiependant.co domain, some part of the registration process didn’t go through correctly.
If your domain isn’t listed there, can you double-check that you followed these steps, please?
Let me know what you find out, please!
Good luck!

Yes it says that theindiependant.co is my primary domain. Status: Expiring – will stop functioning on September 17, 2015. Also says http://theindiependantdotco.wordpress.com/ will redirect to the primary and that it never expires. It’s so frustrating it doesn’t make any sense haha thanks for the help look forward to hearing back!

Well, I’m not sure what’s going on. I don’t have access to any of your account information…I’m just a volunteer. I’ll tag this thread for staff follow-up. Please be mindful that they normally respond to threads by time stamps and will get to other ines before yours if they’ve been out there longer.
I’m sorry I can’t help you more! Maybe someone else in the forums might have an idea or a WordPress staff member will see this soon.
