DNS File Zone Not Available–cannot set up domain to transfer now to Squarespace

    Hey guys, I’ve searched the forums for the past hour or so for a solution, but I’ve come to a dead end.

    I purchased the domain tympanumeffect.com through WordPress and want to have it direct to my Squarespace page instead.

    I tried following WordPress’ instructions as well as Squarespace’s, but it appears they both require methods that are incompatible or unavailable to the user (?)

    I could not modify/acquire the CNAME and A that Squarespace requires. And in my WordPress domain login, I have no ability access to my DNS Zone File or add/modify nameservers.

    Please help. I’m at a loss of what to do now. Per Squarespace’s instructions, I’ve set the primary DNS of my Squarespace (http://jr-tympanum.squarespace.com) to ‘www.tympanumeffect.com’, but if you guys can help facilitate the rest of my transition, I would greatly appreciate it.
