DNS for jegerlober.dk to jegerlober.wordpress.com

  I try to move my blog (jegerlober.dk) from Blogger.com to wordpress.com (jegerlober.wordpress.com) by rigth now I get an error when I try to see jeger.ober.dk – the error is saying: “Redirection error

  Unable to find forward location. DNS might be incorrect or cached. Please try again in a few hours or check the forwarding configuration.”

  I have already changed the nameserver to NS1.wordpress.com, NS2.wordpress.com and NS3.wordpress.com I have tried to map my own domain (jegerlober.dk) to jegerlober.wordpress.com but it is not working.

  I would very much like it working like this:
  http://www.jegerlober.dk should show jegerlober.wordpress.com (with http://www.jegerlober.dk in the url-address field)
  jegerlober.dk should show jegerlober.wordpress.com (with http://www.jegerlober.dk in the url-address field)

  But it is not working right now. Could you please check if I have my settings made correctly?

  Hi there,

  It looks like you’ve done everything necessary to point jegerlober.dk to WordPress.com. It can take up to 72 hours for your domain to fully propagate across the internet, and it looks like you just set this up yesterday, so if it’s not appearing for you yet, please give it a little more time.

  it seems like that the only url-address there is shown at my site is jegerlober.dk and I would very much like it to show http://www.jegerlober.dk (with the “WWW”)

  It I write http://www.jegerlober.dk in the url field it shows “jegerlober.dk” (without www.) and if I write “jegerlober.dk” it also just shows “jegerlober.dk”

  How do I change it so it always shows the url-address with the “WWW.”?

  Your domain is set as the non-WWW version on WordPress.com, but those who go to either version of your domain will find your site.

  How do I set it as a www-version on WordPress.com so those who go to either version of my domain (jegerlober.dk) will only see http://www.jegerlober.dk (and not jegerlober.dk (witout the www.))?

  We do not use the www in our domains, but instead display the non www version. That is how it works on WordPress.com, and we do not have the option to do it the other way. It’s all the same for practical use and for SEO. Also, anyone who uses the www address will be automatically redirected to your site, so you can use the www address elsewhere if you wish.
