Hi,
Is this the blog you need help with? http://barbarahigby.wordpress.com/
If so, it seems to work fine.
You can see all the blogs associated with your account at https://wordpress.com/sites/
Hope that helps!

Hi,
Have you purchased this domain name?
Because the domain name (hope.com) seems to already be taken so you can’t add the subdomain (barbarahigby) to that domain to make (barbarahigby.hope.com).
For the free WordPress.com domain names, it would have to be in the format of yoursitename.wordpress.com.
If you want to purchase a domain, it would have to be in the format of yoursitename.com where yoursitename.com has not been purchased by other people yet.
Hope that helps!

I indicated I wanted barbarahigby.hope.com when I was setting up my site. It allows me to switch to it as my primary site but then won’t open. I get a notice that DNS lookup failed. I have followed instructions to add what they tol me (barbarahigby 14400 IN CNAME) but WP pages don’t match those in the tutorial. I’m supposed to have an edit button but there isn’t one. I thought I paid for my domain name when I also signed up for mapping.

Hi,
Mapping a domain and buying a domain are two different things.
To see all the domain names you have purchased, on your Dashboard, go to Store > My Domains. If the domain name is not there, it means you haven’t purchased that domain. (Adding a domain name is $18.)
See more info about it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/Let me know what domain name you see under Store > My Domains.
Thank you.

Did you buy the domain mapping upgrade and follow these instructions?
