DNS mapping?

    I have just cancelled my blog with another host and changed the dns settings from them to wordpress.com. I have a domain mapping receipt from wordpress as I own this domain,
    but when I am trying to set up this blog I get a message
    ” sorry need to contact webmaster”.
    Although I am able to do some work on it then this message comes up. As I know it takes time to transfer DNS settings will this right itself?
