DNS MAPPING HELP
-
Hi
I’ve never done any web progamming before or had anything to do with mapping domains I’ve been trying to sort this out for weeks and it needs doing by the end of the week for a college deadline, STRESS!I’ve been reading tutorials on how to do this and I’ve also emailed godaddy and they couldnt help me either.
I need to point my nameservers from my godaddy account to wordpress.
I bought my .com from wordpress and then hosted it through godaddy.
I know my nameserves are
NS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS70.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
apparently I don’t have a custom email address through godaddy so these codes aren’t correctCNAME autodiscover EXCHANGE.jNS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM.
MX 10 MAIL1.NS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM.
MX 20 MAIL2.NS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
TXT v=spf1 include:mailNS69.DOMAINCONTROL.COM ~all
A webmail 1.2.3.4Can anyone talk me through how to map my nameservers without getting all technical on me or directing me to a tutorial? I’m new here and I’m really really confused.
Thanks

If I understand correctly, you bought the domain name from WordPress.com but want to host your website on GoDaddy?

I see. The way you wrote your message before, it looked like it was the other way around… This is what you need to do instead:

24 to 72 hours but changes usually start much sooner – you can have local cache issues with your ISP and others that can give you erratic results – check the progress as the link below
