DNS / MX changes for email?
-
I have a personal domain (petefaoro.com) that I’m hosting with Zoho for email purposes. My DNS / MX settings at WordPress already point to Zoho.
If I change my “real” ISP and therefore my personal email address – currently (email visible only to moderators and staff) – to something else, will I have to do anything further with my DNS settings or will it be enough to make any necessary changes (apparently only my forwarding address) with Zoho directly?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Pete – you shouldn’t need to make any DNS changes on the WordPress.com side.
Just let me know if you need further help.

Thanks very much; I know all my questions must be tiresome, but every little bit I _don’t_ have to do helps. Being ignorant is one thing; being ignorant and headed toward 70 is quite something else. (This from a fellow whose first computer, before web went public, was a state-of-the-art 386 with twin 5 1/4″ floppies and no hard drive. There was even a time when I could write simple code on a cassette player… ah, those were the days – if only I could remember them :-)
I’ll mark the thread Resolved now…

No worries – answering questions is what we’re here for, it’s my pleasure.
p.s. I remember the hard drive-less computer days! I’m very glad we’re past them. ;-)
