DNS Nameservers
-
I just paid for the sharing plan through hostgator and imported my blog using fantastico, but it looks like it isn’t working. every time I try to access the admin panel on there, it redirects me to eesportsworld.wordpress.com when it should be eesportsworld.com/wp-admin/. Apparently, my DNS nameservers need to be changed but I have no idea how to do that on wordpress. Any help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will need to go into your domain management here and change the DNS to point at hostgator. They should have provided you with the nameserver information you need.

By the way, it will take probably anywhere from a few hours to as much as 24 to 72 for the nameserver change to propagate through the internet. Nothing can be done to speed that up. Lately though it has been happening in just a few hours.

Here is the information they’ve given me for nameservers:
NS1: ns2085.hostgator.com
NS2: ns2086.hostgator.comCan anyone give me an example of how to put this into the system?

The name servers are changed with the registrar. If you did not register your name with WordPress.COM then you will not be able to change them here. It looks like the name linked to your name is registered with ENOM, INC, you need to change the name servers with them or the company that you are registered with.
