DNS needs to be updated

I was autocharged for a domain renewal ($26) a month before the expiration date despite not enrolling in autorenew. The account that was billed had almost no money in it so would have been overdrawn. Upon receiving the email that it had been charged I made a wire transfer in desperation. The wire transfer ended up costing me $45, nearly twice what it cost to register the domain for a year. To add insult to injury, the domain was cancelled after I sent an email to wordpress support asking to stop the charge because I wanted to use a different account. This was two weeks ago.
The domain has I think been remapped to me, but I am now getting a “DNS needs to be updated” error. I can’t believe how mismanaged this process has been. The domain was not set to expire until the end of this month. I’ve already lost an additional $45 and don’t even have the domain. What is going on??

I’m sorry for the confusion here. As it stands right now, the domain will not work. As a result, I have removed the subscription from your account. I’m in the process of working with the registrar to restore the domain (which is the only way we’ll get it to work correctly). I’ll get back to you as soon as I hear back from them!

@washjosh – The domain should now be functional on your site. Can you just switch the primary domain here?
