DNS needs to be updated

    Hi,

    I have this error at the bottom of my Domains page. I have spoken with the guys where the site is hosted and the wordpress DNS tags have been entered correctly.

    I have looked through the forums here and am happy that I’ve set it up correctly in WordPress.

    Could someone let me know why my site is still down?

    Hi there. Are you trying to use that domain with a self-hosted site by adding custom A records? Make sure you’ve followed the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/setting-custom-a-records/

    Otherwise, have you tried asking in the WordPress.org forums yet? In this forum we can only really help you with WordPress.com sites and if your DNS settings are already correct there’s not much else we can do on this side to help you that I know of.

    If they can’t help you there either, or send you back here, let me know in this thread and I’ll tag it for staff to follow up.
