DNS needs to be updated

  Hi, I just mapped this domain name to my wordpress account and it was originally purchased through register.com

  I was able to make the $13 payment to map my domain to wordpress but I am getting this message “DNS needs to be updated.” and I have no idea what to do about that.

  I tried going into Domain Management > Edit DNS and I’m clueless as to what is going on there. I get this message at the top of ‘Edit DNS’:

  “Your nameservers need to be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for these DNS records to work. If you have already updated the nameservers you can ignore this message; it will stop appearing soon.”

  Can someone help me out?

  Ok, so I went to my account manager at Register and I changed my domain’s name servers to the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  It looks like the “DNS needs to be updated” message is gone now.
