DNS needs to be updated

    I upgraded to premium after having my domain registered elsewhere for a period of time. WordPress does not give me the option to update the DNS or even get into the screen to edit the DNS (which should be managed by WordPress since I purchased premium, right?)

    How do I make sure that the domain I paid for is actually working?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Then you need to change your name servers at your Registrar not at WordPress.COM

    See above – but the name servers can only be changed at the Registrar – the Premium Upgrade gives you the ability to change some internet related settings but not the name servers unless you are also registered at WordPress.COM

    The domain is no longer registered at the previous Registrar and I don’t believe it was registered there when I updated premium. It was unregistered for a few months, at least.

    A whois shows jamespatrickjensen.com. as not being registered – you should be able to Register the name then with WordPress.COM

    Dashboard >> Store >> Should be Register a name somewhere there

    the cost should automatically be covered with your new upgrade

    I will flag this for staff attention if you need more help

    Hi there,

    Since the domain jamespatrickjensen.com is no longer registered at your previous registrar, I removed your domain mapping upgrade and reset the free domain credit included in the WordPress.com Premium plan you bought. You can head to the Domains page to re-register jamespatrickjensen.com as a new domain here at WordPress.com so you can continue using it.

    Hi all,
    I upgraded to premium with a new domain: http://www.sbarrera.es
    and from yesterday ( when I upgraded to premium) it appears this message: DNS needs to be updated. I dont know if this an automatical process or on the contrary, I have to change anything. Please, tell me something
