DNS needs to be updated – fitfilipina.wordpress.com to fitfilipina.com

  Hi – I received a message that I need to set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for DNS records to work. I’ve already purchased the domain, fitfilipina.com, through WordPress and I want my primary domain to link to this: fitfilipina.com. Not sure how I would do that. Can you please help me? Thank you kindly.

  Hi there,

  I see that the domain name fitfilipina.com was registered through a company called MyDomain on the date August 7, 2008. You can see the publicly available information about that domain through WHOIS:

  http://whois.domaintools.com/fitfilipina.com

  If you registered the domain there, then you can map it to your WordPress.com site by changing the domain’s name servers to the following:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you’re not sure how to do this, please contact your domain registrar for assistance.

  If you did not register the domain fitfilipina.com through that company, then it is owned by someone else. In that case, you’ll need to pick a different domain to use with your site.

  If you didn’t register this domain, let me know, and I’ll add the domain credit back to your account. This way, you can register a different domain name using that free domain credit with your Premium plan.
