DNS points to deleted WP site

  My DNS points to a deleted WP blog and I don’t know how to unlink it to point to a new blog. Clearly I am no technical genius which is why I am in the predicament.

  I have created a new WP site (and intend to upload the contents of the deleted site) and now want the DNS to point to this site. When I try to add it under my domains I get an error message telling me that it is already pointed to a site (the deleted one).

  Does this mean I have lost my domain? I hope there is a simple answer and promise never to attempt any such thing again.

  sorry I should have said the domain in question is: mandalika-designs.com
